Highly efficient internal-combustion machine rated at. This amazing engine utilizes a tiny spark plug, HALL sensor and CDI ignition designed for four-stroke gas engines.

Runs optimally on 92 octane premium unleaded gasoline. The gas must be premixed with oil per the manufacturers recommended ratio of 25:1 to 30:1 for proper lubrication of the lower end. The FS-S100GA comes complete with a starting motor and belt as well as a pre installed magnet/sensor on the flywheel for correct ignition timing. Also included is a HALL sensor bracket & mounting hardware. A HALL sensor is necessary so that the CDI ignition fires at exactly the right time to initiate combustion.

Unlike a glow plug which remains hot/lit throughout the cycles, the gas engines spark plug only fires for a very brief and specific moment. This engine system requires 7.4v to both the starter and the CDI.

The high speed cooling fan adds realism/scale appearance while keeping the engine cool! A four-stroke engine is an internal combustion engine that utilizes four distinct piston strokes (intake, compression, ignition, and exhaust) to complete one operating cycle. The piston makes two complete passes in the cylinder to complete one operating cycle. Intake stroke: The piston moves downward towards the bottom, this increases the volume creating a vacuum to allow a fuel-air mixture to enter the chamber. Compression stroke: The intake valve is closed, and the piston moves up the chamber to the top.

This compresses the fuel-air mixture. The compressed fuel/air is ready for ignition to begin combustion. Ignition Stroke: The spark plug fires/fuel ignites, the heat released from combusting hydrocarbons increases the pressure which causes the gas to push down on the piston and create the power output. Exhaust stroke: As the piston reaches the bottom, the exhaust valve opens. The exhaust gas is forced out through the exhaust valve by the piston as it moves back upwards.
