Gas Engine for Honda GX160 4-Stroke OHV Air Cooled Single Cylinder 6.5HP 160cc

This is a kind of single-cylinder, four-stroke gasoline engine, having the advantages of small size, light, smooth running and easy maintenance. It is suitable for powering industrial and agricultural machines, such as electric generators, rototillers, threshers, grinders, rice transplanters and water pumps, etc. Lube oil capacity: 0.6L. Fuel tank capacity: 3.6L. Engine Type: Air Cooled, 4 Stroke Gasoline Engine, OHV, Single Cylinder.

Horsepower: 6.5HP (4.8kw). Professional Installation is Highly Recommended. Overhead valve (OHV) design Low fuel consumption, low operating temperature, high performance. Large capacity air filter Improve air filtration performance and reduce wear.

Metal cam, forged crankshaft The whole machine adopts high-quality materials, with stronger performance and longer life. Cast iron cylinder liner Easy to start, engine running more stable. Running the engine with insufficient oil can cause serious engine damage.

Please add 0.6L of oil before use and start. Be sure to check the engine on a level surface with the engine stopped. Using nondetergent oil or 2-stroke engine oil could shorten the engine's service life.

Turn the fuel valve to the ON position. Move the chock lever to the CLOSED position. Note: Do not use the choke if the engine is warm or the air temperature is high. Move the throttle control lever slightly to the left.

Start the engine with recoil starter: Turn the engine switch to the ON position. As the engine warms up, gradually move the choke lever to the OPEN position.

Position the throttle control lever for the desired engine speed. Indicates a possibility of personal injury or equipment damage if insrtuctions are not followed. If these rules are not obeyed, the promise will be invalid, and it is possible for accidents of fatal danger to occer. In order to make the engine work efficiently, the output and working speed of the engine should match the driven machines. Running the engine with low load or at low speed over a long period of time is ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN as well as running with over load or at over speed.

The gasoline and the lubricating oil of specified grades are to be used. They should be completely precipitated and filtered before use. Any utensils used herein should be kept clean.

The lubricating oil must be periodically changed. Frequently check the bolts mounting and connecting the engine and the bolts in the engine, if loose, tighten them. Clean the air filter reguarly, change the air filter cartridge if necessary. It is an air-cooling gasoline engine, to keep the engine in the best cooling condition, clean the radiating gills, air guiding cover and fan if there is any dust. The operator should know the principle and the framework of the engine, maintenance the engine regularly, and eliminate defects in time.

Don't touch parts of high temperatures such as the silencer, when the engine in use. Or you may be scalded. Always make a pre-operation inspection before you start the engine. You may prevent an accident or equipment damage.

To prevent fire hazards and to provide adequate ventilation, keep the engine at least meter (3 feet) away from buildings and other equipment during operation. Do not place flammable objects close to the engine.

Children and pets must be kept away from the area of operation due a possibility of burns from hot engine components or injury from any equipment the engine may be used to operate. Know how to stop the engine quickly, and understand the operation of all controls. Never permit anyone to operate the engine without proper instructions. Do not place flammable objects such as gasoline, matches, etc.

Close to the engine while it is running. Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine stopped. Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive under certain conditions.

Do not overfill the fuel tank. There should be no fuel in the filler neck. Make sure that the filler cap is closed securely. If any fuel is spilled, clean it up completely and allow petroleum vapours to dissipate before starting the engine.

Do not smoke or allow flames or sparks where the engine is refueled or where gasoline is sotred. Exhaust gas contains poisonous carbon monoxide. Avoid inhalation of exhaust gases. Never run the engine in a closed garage or confined area.

Place the engine on a stable surface. Do not tilt the engine more than 20 form horizontal. Operating at excessive angles may result in fuel spillage. For more details, please refer to the instruction manual.
